The battle royale genre is getting a new game under a very popular name. Call of Duty. This franchise is throwing their hat into the ring and going to produce a game similar to Player Unknowns Battle Grounds or Fortnight. .
The beta is underway at the moment, with matches in Call of Duty’s version of Battle Royale on a much smaller scale.
There are also a few other big differences in the Call of Duty ‘Free For All’ mode.
Instead of it being a last player standing battle, like Fortnite and PUBG, in Call of Duty’s version it’s all about getting the highest kill count.
Also, instead of dropping the players at once from a plane or a flying bus, Call of Duty’s Battle Royale lets players choose their starting point.
They decide where to initially spawn even before a match begins.
Once the action gets underway, an announcer and crowd cheers the player on each time they take down an opponent.
While this may seem right up your street, it’s unlikely you’ll be playing it anytime soon unfortunately.
We will keep you updated on any more new we here about this!
